Frequently Asked Questions

I really appreciate your interest in working with me. At the moment, my caseload is full, and I’m unable to take on new clients. Thank you for your understanding

Do I need a referral?

You do not need a referral or a Mental Health Care Plan to make an appointment.

What are the fees?

The Standard 50 minute appointment is $230.00 for all private clients.
A $98.95 Medicare rebate may be accessible when evidence of a current Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) is provided.
Please note we are not a bulk billing practice. A MHCP rebate does not cover the full appointment fee.

Atlas Health Consultancy specialise in working with adults, 18 years and above.

Medicare Rebates?

We recommend that clients ask their GP for a referral using a Mental Health Treatment Plan as this allows access to rebates for up to 10 sessions in a calendar year. Individuals who are referred by their GP through a Mental Health Treatment Plan may be eligible to claim a rebate from Medicare.
The Gap – The Medicare rebate to see a Psychologist is $98.95. The cost for a session with the psychologist is greater than the Medicare rebate, so you pay the difference between what the psychologist charges you and the Medicare rebate you receive – Gap fee = $131.05.

Bulk Billing

Unfortunately we are not able to offer bulk billing services at this time due to the extensive and comprehensive nature of the consultations, however Medicare rebates may be available.
